Temporary Groundsman Position

We are currently seeking applicants for a Temporary Groundsman position, a skilled laborer whose duties are vital to safety, quality, and overall production. We offer a fun, challenging work environment with competitive pay. This position involves moderate to heavy work in most types of weather. Physical requirements include frequent standing, squatting, walking, lifting heavy objects and performing other similar actions during the course of the workday. Job duties include but are not limited to:

Manually clear job site, streets, and surrounding area of tree brush, branches, leaves, stumps and other debris.

Manually load trucks with logs, stumps, brush, and debris and/or feed brush into wood chippers.

Must have experience operating power equipment including chainsaws, pole saws, leaf blowers and brush chippers.

Assist climber in rigging and roping and perform some pruning when requested.

Knowledge of roping, rigging, knots, job set up and work zone safety preferred.

Operate hand equipment including but not limited to pole saws, hand saws, and rakes. Ensure all tools are accounted for and on the truck before leaving the job site.
